The stories are written for kids roughly ages 1 to 10 — we tune the length, words, and themes to your child. Younger ones get gentle bedtime tales about courage, kindness, sharing, and big first-times; older kids get bigger adventures, braver themes, and an illustrated keepsake they'll grow into. Through age 9, each story has a Cuddle-Up Corner to talk about together.

Visit hellostorybook.com/orders any time and enter your order number (it starts with HS-) along with the email you used at checkout to see exactly where your book is — from the illustration studio to your doorstep. Once a printed book ships, we'll also email you a carrier tracking link.

Checkout is handled securely by Stripe, which protects your card details with bank-level encryption. We never see or store your full card number.

Yes — a personalized book is one of the most thoughtful gifts there is. You can ship it straight to the recipient, and a digital edition is emailed in about 15–20 minutes for last-minute gifting. See our gift cards page for more.

Because every book is personalized and made to order, we can't accept returns for a simple change of mind — but our 30-day happiness guarantee has you covered. If a printed softcover or hardcover book isn't right — or arrives damaged, defective, or not as described — contact us within 30 days and we'll reprint or refund it in full. Digital editions are delivered instantly and are final sale, but we'll revise your digital book until you're happy; refunds on digital are at our discretion for genuine quality issues we can't resolve.

We use it only to create your book, then permanently delete it 30 days after your book is delivered — and never later than 120 days after upload. If we never deliver your book — a cancelled or refunded order, or one we couldn't complete — we delete it 30 days after upload. Photos are never sold, shared, or used to train AI.
